LUNCHEON MEETING

KING CITY — Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated will be hosting its monthly luncheon meeting on Tuesday, April 5, at 11:30 a.m. at King Kora Restaurant, 611 Canal St., in King City. The guest speakers will be Vicki Nohrden, candidate for Assembly in District 30, and Peter Hernandez, candidate for Congress in the newly drawn District 18. FUNDRAISING DRIVE

SALINAS — Independent nonprofit Partnership for Children will be the recipient of an all-day fundraiser at Pizza Factory in Salinas on April 6. During regular operating hours, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., customers can inform their server that they’re there for Partnership for Children and 25% of their total bill will go to the nonprofit. Pizza Factory is located at 926 S. Main St. in Salinas. Partnership for Children focuses on increasing access to care for youth with life-threatening conditions and supporting their families with rides and financial help. STORAGE REBRANDS

SALINAS — West Coast Self-Storage announced that it has acquired North Main Mini Storage and has rebranded it West Coast Self-Storage Salinas. The business is located in the Laurel Park neighborhood at 1105 North Main St., in the northwest corner of The Sherwood Gardens Shopping Center. The storage facility has 327 storage units ranging in size from 5×5 to 10×20, all of which are ground-level, drive-up units for loading and unloading. SALINAS VALLEY — After two years of postponements, the Big Week Kick Off Concert featuring Toby Keith with special guest Clay Walker has been announced for July 15 at the Salinas Sports Complex. The concert will kick off the 112th anniversary of the California Rodeo Salinas, which is set for July 21-24. Tickets for the concert, presented by Taylor Farms, are available online at carodeo.com.
