ANIMAL CAMP
MONTEREY COUNTY — SPCA Monterey County invites registrations for its highly anticipated Animal Camp, perfect for children who share a love for animals. This year, camps will take place at the SPCA campus and the newly renovated Claire Jacobson Learning Center, emphasizing kindness and compassion toward pets and wildlife. Registration is now open at spcamc.org/camp. In a new initiative, the SPCA is offering scholarships for children unable to attend due to financial constraints. Thanks to generous donors, a limited number of free registrations will be awarded by lottery once camp registration closes. Interested families are encouraged to apply online at spcamc.org/camp-scholarship. The summer camps provide a blend of fun and educational activities, including lessons in animal safety, hikes and opportunities to create toys and treats for pets. Participants will meet rescued wildlife, engage with horses and barn animals, play trivia games and make pet-related crafts. For more information, visit SPCAmc.org.
