KING CITY — Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated will be sending packages to the troops on June 6, and the club is looking for addresses of local servicemen or women serving in harm’s way.
The club welcomes participation in this project and large flat-rate priority mail boxes can be obtained at the King City Post Office or picked up at the South County Newspapers office, 522 Broadway St., in King City. A list of desired items for the boxes can also be obtained at the newspaper office. Filled boxes can be dropped off at the paper or can be picked up.
