MONTEREY COUNTY — A weeklong drainage repair project along Highway 101 near Bradley and Salinas is scheduled to begin Sunday night, May 3, with overnight ramp and intermittent lane closures planned through Friday, May 8, according to Caltrans.

The work will repair drainage culverts at three locations along the highway.

Northbound 101 travelers will encounter a full overnight closure of Hartnell Road just south of Salinas. The closure will be in place from Sunday, May 3, through Friday, May 8. A detour will be available via Spence Road.

Motorists will also see intermittent overnight lane closures at the westbound Sanborn Road intersection at 101, as well as on the northbound 101 off-ramp to Sanborn Road.

Additional intermittent overnight lane closures are planned along both northbound and southbound 101 near the Camp Roberts Rest Area, south of Bradley.

Message and directional signs will be in place to alert drivers. Caltrans said motorists should expect delays of up to 15 minutes during active work hours.
