KING CITY — On May 31, at about 8:58 p.m., officers from the King City Police Department were dispatched to the 400 block of N. Vanderhurst Ave. regarding an incidence of possible physical domestic violence that involved a Hispanic male adult beating a female on the sidewalk.

Officers arrived in the area and discovered both parties had fled the scene on foot. During a search of the area, they spotted a subject matching the description in the 400 block of Lynn St. The subject ran from the officer, but after a short foot pursuit, was taken into custody.
