KING CITY — Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez and Registrar of Voters Gina Martinez recently honored King City High School students Hayden Munoz and Amity Hearne, who led an effort to get their fellow classmates registered to vote.

They secured more than 100 new voter registrations, cementing themselves as the “champions for this year’s challenge run through the Elections Office,” according to Lopez on May 23.
