Elizabeth Carolyn Peters Hamblin, born April 2, 1928, in Atkins, Pope County, Ark., peacefully passed on to be with God on June 22, 2019, in Rockwall, Texas, having been blessed with 91 wonderful years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David A. (Jack) and Georgia Hutson Johnson, as well as her husband Clyde Peters, sons John and Wayne Peters, grandson Kevin Garcia, sisters Georgia Trumpfheller, Alice Bratton, Sue Bratton and Thelma Lawhorn, and brother Elmer (Bud) Johnson.
Survivors include Earl Peters of Nevada, Joe Peters and spouse Franny Peters of California, sister Margie Norris of Russellville, nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
