KING CITY — Nearly 100 guests spent last Saturday night at the Monterey County Agricultural and Rural Life Museum, which presented its first Halloween Movie Night outside the museum located at San Lorenzo Park in King City.

The Oct. 22 community event featured crafts and activities, including pumpkin painting and a spooky photo booth, along with a food truck from La Chave Birria Antojos and free popcorn, in addition to showing the very fitting 2006 film, “Night at the Museum.”

“It was a very magical night watching the community come together to celebrate and be festive,” said Ellie Clifton, MCARLM executive director. “As the new director at MCARLM, I look forward to more times where we can be a friend of the community like this. Everyone I talked to said they had a great time! We will definitely be having this event again next year.”
