KING CITY — Monterey County Dance Theatre and Monterey County Dance Foundation unveiled the lead performers for the 2024 “Nutcracker Ballet” during its Summer Gala on July 27.

This year’s production will feature 10-year-old Jenavieve Storelli (daughter of Anthony and Teri Storelli) as Clara, and 11-year-old Allison Ochoa (daughter of Fernando Ochoa and Michelle Camacho) as Clara’s mischievous brother Fritz.

Both young dancers hail from King City.

This year’s show, set for Dec. 13-15 at Robert Stanton Theater, is especially significant as it celebrates the 65th anniversary of the “Nutcracker Ballet” production in King City, promising an array of special events and festivities to mark the historic milestone.
