KING CITY — King City Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured one person Monday night.

Officers responded to a report of a victim suffering from gunshot wounds in the 200 block of Sussex Way on Nov. 29 at about 10:30 p.m. The man had been shot while sitting inside his vehicle, police said.

“The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his wounds,” police said in a news release Wednesday. “The investigation is ongoing.”
