Maria Gloria Oliveros of King City, Calif. passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

She was born on August 12, 1926 in Michoacan, Mexico where she met and married the love of her life, Salvador Oliveros. They immigrated to the United States in 1960 to give their children a chance at a better life. She along with her loving husband Salvador raised 11 children.

She enjoyed her family tremendously and nothing came before her kids. Maria loved gardening and she spent countless hours tending to her roses. But most of all she was devoted to her faith and her family. She was the salt of the earth. People like her don’t seem to get the credit they deserve in life because their sacrifices are not recognized. But she was a hero to us all. She will leave a hole in our hearts, but most of all she leaves a legacy of love and courage for generations to come.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Oliveros and two sons, Jose Luis and Rigoberto. She’s survived by 5 daughters, 4 sons and countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Visitation and Rosary was held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel. A Funeral Mass was held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church in King City. Burial took place at Soledad District Cemetery in Soledad, Calif.
