Smoke transported from the massive wildfires currently burning in Northern California, Washington, Oregon and British Columbia may degrade air quality in Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties, possibly causing the concentration of smoke to reach unhealthful levels in some parts of the tri-county air basin.
