Dear residents, your support is crucial for our city’s future. Measure T is a vital sales tax measure designed to continue the progress we’ve made in enhancing our infrastructure, expanding recreational opportunities and improving our safety.
By voting yes on Measure T, you’ll help generate approximately $1.2 million annually. This funding will address critical needs, such as road repairs, public safety enhancements and facility upgrades. Additionally, it will bolster our recreational programs, ensuring that all residents have access to quality services and opportunities for healthy living.
Importantly, over 60% of the revenue generated by this 1/2-cent sales tax will come from visitors to our city, making it a strategic investment in our community without placing a heavy burden on local residents.
With a 12-year sunset clause, Measure T is a temporary measure with lasting benefits that reflects our commitment to long-term financial sustainability. Your support will help us enhance the quality of life for all residents, making King City a better place to live, work and play.
