KING CITY — A Community Drop-off Event on June 22 at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds saw nearly 200 vehicles stopping by to dispose of bulky items and household hazardous waste.

According to Waste Management (WM) staff, this was the highest turnout ever for the free recycling event, sponsored by WM as part of this year’s Beautification Week in King City.
