KING CITY — King City Police Department officers and California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control agents, with the assistance of the Monterey County Friday Night Live program, conducted a sting operation Sept. 21 targeting the sales of alcohol to minors at various locations in town.
The operation visited nine locations and issued citations to the following people, all from King City, for either furnishing alcohol to minors or being a minor in possession of alcohol:
• Nikunjkumar Patel, 37, in the 400 block of S. First St.;
• Alijandra Carpio Mojica, 27, and Jesus Adolfo Guzman Cruz, 20, in the 100 block of Bassett St.; and
• Irma Ochoa Aguirre, 44, and Guillermo Calderon Soto, 20, in the 100 block of Broadway St.
