KING CITY — A certificate of recognition was recently awarded to King City Cemetery by representatives of Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated and its Caring for America program.

The Old Glory award is given each year to a place of business in South Monterey County that flies the American Flag.

In attendance at the award presentation were King City Cemetery Manager Joseph Kerr and Board Member Brent Conatser, along with SMCRWF/Caring for America Chair Kathy Imamura, SMCRWF President Kathy Forgnone and SMCRWF Publicity Chair Karen Leonhard.
