Germaine Zandotti King passed away peacefully on June 20, 2018, after a lengthy illness. She was 89 years old.

Germaine was born in San Francisco, Calif. on Oct. 26, 1928. Germaine moved with her family to King City, Calif., where she attended King City High School. She returned to San Francisco to work for Livingston Brothers and eventually returned to King City to work with and take care of her father, who owned the King Bean Tavern in King City. 

Germaine was preceded in death by her parents, Carlo and Clotilde Zandotti and her husband Bill King. She is survived by her cousin, Evelyn Bernard of Gonzales, and her dear friends, John and Elizabeth (Cattani) Cesca of San Bruno, and Millie Gutierrez of Salinas.

Germaine’s final resting place will be at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma, Calif.,, with her beloved parents.
