JOLON — Fort Hunter Liggett personnel put on their best turkey attire for the military base’s Turkey Trot on Nov. 17.

The afternoon event featured a 2-mile run and a 1-mile walk for the FHL community, including soldiers, families and the DOD workforce.

Garrison Commander Col. Stephen Trotter led the charge on health and fitness, prepping participants for the Thanksgiving feast ahead.

A few turkey vouchers were also raffled off for some lucky families.

FHL, located near Jolon in southern Monterey County, is the largest installation in the Army Reserve.
