KING CITY — Miguel Hernandez of the San Ardo Boxing Club and Alex Salazar of the King City Boxing Club won by unanimous decisions Aug. 16 at the Guerra De Campeones Boxing Show at Veteran’s Memorial Center in Santa Maria.
According to head coach Rodolfo Tapia, the boys did well controlling their respective matches.
“Both did amazing controlling their matches,” Tapia said. “This week we are traveling to Oxnard for the International PAL (Police Athletic League) Boxing Tournament.”
The 48th Annual National PAL Boys Championships will take place from Aug. 24-29 at the Oxnard PAL Mid-City Club in Oxnard.
Both Hernandez and Salazar will be attending, along with Andre Mosqueda and Isaac Mosqueda of the King City Boxing Club.
