MONTEREY COUNTY — New water test results are allowing Monterey County to reduce algae warnings to the public from “Danger” to “Caution” at Lake San Antonio.

New signs went up around the lake in affected areas on Saturday, July 15. The bottled water order at the lake remains in effect.

According to the county, water at the lake will continue to be tested and new signage will be posted as the situation warrants.

Visitors should check the entrance for the latest information.
