KING CITY — A volleyball camp was hosted by the King City High School volleyball program for athletes from fourth to 10th grade on July 17-21 the King City High School Gym. The participants learned fundamental skills, including passing, serving, setting, hitting and blocking, and ended the week with a tournament.

“We had 60 youth attend,” said Lady Mustang head volleyball coach Debbie Hudson. “The camp was successful due to the varsity players who volunteered as coaches.”

The King City volleyball program will be having tryouts on Aug. 4 at 3 p.m. Hudson is the head coach for the Lady Mustangs, and Christine Domingos will be coaching the Lady Broncos with assistance from Sarah Shepherd.
