KING CITY — Residents carry a cross down Third Street in King City as part of Friday’s Walk for Peace, hosted by St. John the Baptist Catholic Church to promote peace and non-violence in the community. More than 20 participants walked from the church to King City Cemetery on Broadway Street, where they celebrated Mass and listened to the reading of local crime victims’ names.
