SALINAS VALLEY — Taylor Farms recently hosted employees and their families at its annual scholarship luncheon on June 15.

This year 37 students were selected as new scholarship recipients. In addition, Taylor Farms is also awarding 101 renewed scholarships, for students who were awarded between 2020 and 2022.

To date, Taylor Farms has awarded $3,701,000 in scholarship funds to 253 outstanding recipients pursuing higher education at a four-year university or graduate program. All scholarship winners are children of active, full-time Taylor Farms team members.

Taylor Farms partners with the Community Foundation for Monterey County to facilitate the application process and award distribution.

The scholarships are tailored to support students throughout their entire academic career, where recipients receive an upfront check for $5,000 and a guaranteed three-year renewal opportunity of $5,000 for each year they remain in an undergraduate or graduate program.

“Taylor Farms is proud to continue supporting our team members and their families through our annual scholarship program,” said Bruce Taylor, chairman and CEO of Taylor Farms. “We are excited to help students embark on their academic careers and remain committed to a vibrant America with education as the foundation for opportunity.”
