Lady Mustangs sweep Trojans, 3-0

Grace Shepherd had 17 kills and five blocks as the King City Lady Mustang volleyball swept host Alisal High ā€” 25-20, 29-27 and 25-14 ā€” last Thursday night at the Trojan gym in Salinas. The game was the first non-league of the season for King City.

South County football teams gather for annual jamboree

In the final tune-up before the start of non-league play, South County high school football teams took the field last Friday at the South County Jamboree, hosted by Soledad High School at the Gene Martin Stadium.
