VETERAN RESOURCES

KING CITY — Veterans can pick up a resource kit at King City Library during curbside hours. The kit contains information about how to access benefits through resources, such as VetNow. There will also be swag included in the veteran grab bag. The library curbside hours are Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


CHARGING STATIONS

GREENFIELD — Monterey County Free Libraries is making battery-charging stations available for electronic devices at the Greenfield, Castroville, Carmel, Marina and Prunedale branches. The Greenfield curbside hours are Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 12 to 4 p.m.


TRUTH ACT

SALINAS — Monterey County Board of Supervisors will host a special Truth Act hearing Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 5 p.m. at the Board of Supervisors Chambers in Salinas. The purpose of the hearing is to inform local leaders of any county or city law enforcement assistance to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
