COMMUNITY WALK
KING CITY — The City of King’s new weekly walk/bike/run event, in conjunction with the Blue Zones Project, continues every Wednesday at 6 p.m. through October 25. The community is invited to join for a fun and leisurely 30-minute walk through downtown beginning at the Town Square, 200 Broadway St., next to King City Cinemas. Runners and cyclists are also welcome. This is an opportunity for the community to come together and make friends, meet City officials and promote good health and happiness. LOTERIA WELLNESS
GREENFIELD — Alliance on Aging will present Loteria Wellness Day on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Greenfield Branch Library, 315 El Camino Real. The free event is offered to seniors age 55 and over in either Spanish or English, and features an in-person wellness presentation to learn techniques to cope and gain support from others. MUSIC IN THE PARK
GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield will present the next Music in the Park concert featuring Andy y su Extremo de México on Thursday, Sept. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hicks Park, 315 El Camino Real, in Greenfield. Bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs for this free family-friendly event for all ages. Local artists and bands are also being sought to perform at future events. KING CITY — King City Police Department is continuing its “Chat with the Chief” series with Police Chief James Hunt on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Starbucks, 1301 Broadway St., in King City. The community can stop by with any questions or concerns for the chief. The final meeting is set for Sept. 27 at Bloom Coffee Shop, 301 Broadway St.
