PROPERTY TAX

KING CITY — Monterey County Treasurer-Tax Collector has notified the City of King that it will no longer be collecting property tax payments at the City Hall. This year residents will need to mail in payments directly to Monterey County Tax Collector or pay in-office at the county offices, online or by phone. Payment information is located on the back of each property tax bill and is also available online.


MOVIES IN THE PARK

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Recreation Department will host Movies in the Park on Friday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. at Patriot Park in Greenfield. There will be food vendors beginning at 6 p.m. before the free showing of “Hocus Pocus.” Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.


YMCA SPOOKTACULAR

SALINAS — Central Coast YMCA will offer chills and thrills during the Halloween season with its Spooktacular 2022 on Friday, Oct. 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The free community event features trick-or-treat stations, arts and crafts, costume parade and more fun for the family at the Salinas Community YMCA, 117 Clay St. For more information, call 831-757-4633 or go to centralcoastymca.org.
