SALINAS — ARIEL Theatrical has announced a bonus addition to its 2022 season, “Miss Nelson is Missing! – The Musical,” with performances set for Fridays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 2 and 7 p.m., May 6-7 and 13-14. Based on the popular children’s book by Harry Allard, the show will bring laughter and learning at the Karen Wilson Children’s Theatre, 320 Main St., in Salinas. CHOIR CONCERT

SALINAS — Monterey Peninsula Voices community choir is celebrating its 60th anniversary this spring with a special concert in Salinas on Saturday, May 7, at Sherwood Hall beginning at 7 p.m. The 100-person chorale is focusing on “CommUNITY” as it unites its singers with Monterey County-based local dance troupes, visual artists and musicians to bring a full array of the arts to the singing stage. MONTEREY COUNTY — Monterey County Workforce Development Board is hosting an in-person job fair on Tuesday, May 10, featuring jobs offered by Naval Support Activity Monterey, which provides primary support to the Naval Postgraduate School, Navy Research Lab and the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center. Workers are needed in child care, golf, fitness, special events, dining and more. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at NSA Monterey, 344 Salinas St., in Salinas.
