BRICK CAMPAIGN

GONZALES — The Dennis and Janice Caprara Community Center is inviting community members to purchase a commemorative brick that will be displayed in the Courtyard area. Prices vary based on brick size. To register and secure a brick, visit surveymonkey.com/r/CDRN7PF. Payments can be made through this link: give.cfmco.org/give/500481/. URBAN COUNTY PLANS

MONTEREY COUNTY — The County of Monterey and the cities of Gonzales, Greenfield, Marina and Sand City are part of the Urban County. The Monterey Urban County 2025-29 Consolidated Plan and 2025-26 Annual Action Plan identify projects and programs that could be funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. There is about $1,436,390 in funding for the next fiscal year. The draft plans are available for comment and review until Tuesday, May 13, when the plans will be presented to the Monterey County Board of Supervisors at 10:30 a.m. Review proposed projects at tinyurl.com/3ddd7rdn. MONTHLY MEETING

KING CITY — Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated will host its monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 6, at 11:30 a.m. at Cork & Plough Restaurant, 200 Broadway, in King City.
