SALINAS — ARIEL Theatrical will present “A Charlie Brown Christmas” at The Karen Wilson Children’s Theatre in Oldtown Salinas this December. The beloved Peanuts characters will share holiday cheer and the true spirit of Christmas through performances on Dec. 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 at 7 p.m., with additional 2 p.m. shows on Saturdays. GONZALES — Celebrate the season with City of Gonzales’ Holiday Lights on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Fourth Street in Gonzales. This annual tradition offers a festive evening for families with a special performance by the GHS Band, games, vendors, raffle prizes and a visit from Santa. MONTEREY — Fisherman’s Wharf Association has announced the return of the free ninth annual Christmas on the Wharf. Taking place over three weekends from Dec. 5 to 21, the event features festive decorations, live performances and new holiday displays along Old Fisherman’s Wharf. Highlights include a new under-the-sea themed display, a 23-foot Christmas tree, cascading lights, a Santa house and whimsical inflatables. Visitors can enjoy marine wildlife views, holiday cheer and dining at local restaurants.
