GREENFIELD — The City of Greenfield will host the 2024 Holiday Celebration at the Village Green Park on Friday, Dec. 6. The park celebration and holiday performances begin at 5 p.m., followed by the holiday parade from 6:10 to 6:50 p.m. and the tree lighting ceremony at 6:45 p.m. The parade starts at Memorial Hall and travels along El Camino Real. SOLEDAD — The Soledad Community Christmas Tree Lighting takes place Friday, Dec. 6, at 5:30 p.m. at Cesar Chavez Park on Front Street. There will be hot cocoa and treats available. In addition, the 38th Annual Soledad Christmas Celebration will be Saturday, Dec. 7, at Cesar Chavez Park. LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE
KING CITY — King City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture’s Lighted Christmas Parade is set for Friday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. in downtown King City. This year’s theme is “Star Spangled Christmas.” The parade starts at Mildred, travels down Broadway and ends at the Town Square with Santa. The awards honor individuals, businesses, groups or programs and projects for their efforts to improve the transportation system in Monterey County.
