KING CITY — Former King City resident and police officer, Larry D. Kendrick is on a reading and book-signing tour and will be stopping in King City on Tuesday, April 12. The local author and novelist will be at Wildhorse Cafe, 50630 Mesa Verde Road, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Pozzi’s Stampede, 207 Broadway St., from 6 to 8 p.m., for a reading and book signing. Along with limited copies of his books, which can also be found on Amazon or Barnes & Noble, Kendrick will have his music CDs available for purchase at the events.


CICLOVIA PLANNING

GREENFIELD — The first Ciclovia Greenfield is in the planning process, with virtual meetings taking place every Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Ciclovia is an open streets event that provides a place for everyone to enjoy biking, walking and free activities in a safe environment. EASTER COOKING

MONTEREY COUNTY — Everyone’s Harvest will host an Easter “Tricks and Tips” virtual cooking demonstration Tuesday, April 12, featuring renowned local chef Brandon Miller. His demo will feature tips and techniques for home chefs preparing for Easter and Easter dinner on Sunday, April 17, this year.
