Jayson Hufford of King City has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Winter 2023 President’s List. The winter terms run from January to May. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List.


Primitivo Avanzado III of King City was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, at California State University, Fresno. Avanzado is among about 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.


Caitlyn Mallobox of Soledad graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis., this spring and earned a Master of Science in nursing. Mallobox was one of 3,143 students to graduate from Marquette in May. 


Brenna Cumming of King City graduated from Montana State University this spring. Ceremonies were held May 12 at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman, Mont.


Isaias Gonzales of King City has been recognized on the Dean’s List at Norwich University in Northfield, Vt., for the Spring 2023 semester. Full-time undergraduate students who earned a semester GPA of at least 3.40 are awarded Dean’s List honors.


Lucas Cuda of Salinas was named to second honors on the Spring 2023 Dean’s List at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement. Students must have a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 to receive second honors.
