KING CITY — First Baptist Church Pastor Ken Reese was honored Feb. 25 by King City Council members with a proclamation aimed at commemorating the victims of last year’s tragic mass shooting, recognizing the local church and other faith-based organizations in leading the community’s healing process.

The proclamation officially designates the first Sunday of March as a “Day of Peace and Remembrance” in King City.

This past Sunday, March 2, First Baptist Church of King City hosted a “Night of Peace and Remembrance” program, serving as a gathering point for reflection and solidarity in the face of violence.
