Norma Jean (Tognetti) Noble passed away Monday April 22nd, 2019, after a long illness. She was 76 years old. She was born October 1st 1942 in King City, California to Elmer and Edith (Vosti) Tognetti.
Growing up on the Tognetti Ranch, Norma Jean was active in 4H, Future Homemakers of America, and Girls Athletic Association. She attended King City schools and graduated from King City High School in 1960. Norma Jean recently retired from her clerical position with the US Government at Twentynine Palms Marine Base.
Prior to her health restrictions, Norma Jean was a volunteer at her local food bank. She is famously known for keeping others warm with her knitted checkerboard slippers and other items. She loved road trips to visit friends and family all over California.
Norma Jean is preceded in death by her father Elmer Tognetti, her mother Edith (Vosti) Tognetti, her brother Elmer Tognetti Jr, her daughter Dawn Noble, and her grandson Kerrick Charette.
Norma Jean is survived by sisters Faye Boston and Darlene (Dan) Newton; her daughters, Diane (Dan) Shull and Denise (Jeff) Warrender; grandchildren Ashley Romo, Kristen (Sean) Navia, Katelyn Jones, Benjamin Noble, Alexandria Charette, and Julianna Charette, Dylan Shull; and great-grandchildren Eli Burress, Tyler Navia, Keira Navia, Bradley Navia, and Makenzie Navia; nieces, cousins and extended family members.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside memorial service on Friday May 10th 2019 at 12pm, King City Cemetery.
A reception will be held following the service.
