Barbara Loudermilk Plaskett passed peacefully in her sleep on Oct. 17, 2018, at age 95.

Born in Tennessee, she moved to California at the age of 18 and worked at McClellan Air Force Base, then moved to Los Angeles County to work at McDonald Douglas Aircraft Company during World War ll.

She married shortly after the war to Byron Carl Plaskett a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War ll, who preceded her in death in 1997.

She and her husband Byron owned and operated a television sales and repair shop, first in Los Angeles County, then in King City, Calif., for many years. When they sold the business, they traveled extensively, touring across the country, including Mexico and Canada.

Barbara is survived  by her children, Brenda, Sharon, Dianne, Gary, Donna and Debra; 18 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral to be held Nov. 3, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Jolon, Calif.
