KING CITY — King City in Bloom hosted a dedication ceremony June 13 for the new windmill and landscaping at the entrance to San Lorenzo County Park in King City.

Project organizers and donors gathered at the site on the corner of Broadway Street and San Antonio Drive to celebrate its completion.

The 30-foot windmill, purchased by King City Rotary Club, was made in Amish Country, and Big Valley Labor donated all the native stones from Greenfield.

Other contributors included Frank Lopez, who helped with the landscaping, and Pete Anecito, who along with his crew facilitated the moving of the boulders, which were supplied from Granite Construction.
