Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated will be sending packages to the troops on June 6, and the club is looking for addresses of local servicemen or women serving in harm’s way.

“Shrek Jr., the Musical” opens Friday, May 5, at 7 p.m., followed by a Saturday performance (May 6) also at 7 p.m. This year Sol Treasures is adding a matinee on Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m.

Regular registration period for the Monterey County Artists Open Studio Tour was originally scheduled to end May 5 but has been extended to May 31.
