SOUTH COUNTY — The Greenfield Lady Bruin softball team outslugged the visiting King City Lady Mustangs 13-12 on March 28 in a Coastal League contest in Greenfield. Andrea Pantoja and Dyanna Flores had a combined eight hits and four runs batted in to lead the Greenfield hitting attack. Aligha Ramey added a base hit for Greenfield.

Megan Flores hit three doubles and three RBIs for King City and Mikayla Davis had a strong day at the plate with a double and a triple. On March 27 the Lady Mustangs hammered the York School Falcons by a 27-0 score. Flores led King City with four hits and four RBIs, and Caroline Martinez and Brooke Tidwell each had three hits. Martinez finished with four RBIs and Mari Cenobio added two hits and two RBIs.

Greenfield completed the week with a 17-16 loss to the Trinity Christian Warriors last Thursday in Monterey. Pantoja smashed four hits for the Lady Bruins and had four RBIs. Aligha Ramey had four hits of her own with three RBIs and Miranda Zuniga had four hits with three RBIs.
