KING CITY — With his family in attendance, Jose Arreola was sworn in as King City’s new city manager last Tuesday during the King City Council meeting.

Arreola brings more than a decade of public service experience and succeeds Steve Adams, who retired after 10 years in the position.

In a Feb. 24 social media post, Arreola wrote, “Tonight I had the honor of being sworn in as the city manager of the City of King City. I take seriously the oath I swore and the responsibility to serve the hardworking residents of this fine city. Thank you to the King City Council for entrusting me with this appointment, to my family and friends for their incredible support, and to the people of King City for the warm welcome.”
