KING CITY — Kurt and Susan Frenzel marked their 50th wedding anniversary this April 2025.
Susan, formerly Susan Holland, is the daughter of the late Al Holland, a longtime employee at Lyns Liquors. The couple, both graduates of local high schools — Susan from King City High and Kurt from Vista High — have called King City home their entire marriage.
Kurt worked as a gardener for Village Oaks before pursuing courses at Hartnell College, which led him into a career in banking. He retired from Edward Jones Investments in 2021. Susan previously worked at Bank of America for five years.
Active members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations in Soledad and Greenfield, Kurt and Susan celebrated their milestone with friends from Texas, Arizona and locally. Their wedding officiant, Jim Dowgialo, along with his wife Cheryl from Los Gatos, joined in the celebration.
The couple enjoys their life in King City with their new puppy, Sadie, cherishing their lifelong home together.
