KING CITY — A 33-year-old man from King City has been arrested for vandalism after police said he broke the front window to the local Wells Fargo bank.
According to the King City Police Department, on Feb. 21 at about 11:15 a.m., officers responded to Wells Fargo at 506 Broadway St., where bank employees told them a subject had broken the front window and then left the scene before police arrived. The window’s replacement cost was estimated at $4,200.
“KCPD initiated an investigation into the vandalism and were able to develop leads which resulted in the identification of the suspect who committed the vandalism,” police said in a news release. “As part of the investigation, the King City cameras were utilized, and the suspect’s identity was captured.”
Ramon Solis Solis was identified as the suspect.
On Feb. 27, Solis was found walking in the 200 block of Broadway Street, where he was arrested and taken to Monterey County Jail on charges for felony vandalism.
