KING CITY — King City Loaves and Fishes handed out toys to more than 100 children on Dec. 22.
The toys were donated by members of the Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated and Aera Energy.
The program was fortunate to have J.W. Paine volunteer to be Santa Claus. Paine is running for District 29 State Assembly.
The families also received food, which they receive every Friday. Loaves and Fishes is able to provide this food due to generous donations from the community.
“A big thank you goes to J.W. Paine, Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated and Aera Energy for their generosity,” stated a press release.
