KING CITY — For the 10th consecutive year, the King City High School FFA Chapter has been recognized as one of the top 20 FFA programs in California.
This distinction is based on the number of State and American Degrees earned by the students, showcasing their dedication to agricultural education and leadership development.

King City FFA continues to uphold a legacy of excellence through its robust Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs, high levels of student involvement beyond the local level, and a curriculum that emphasizes rigor and relevance. “Our students work incredibly hard to earn their degrees, participate in leadership events, and build skills that will serve them in the future,” said Patrick Smith, King City FFA advisor. “This recognition as a Top 20 Chapter is a testament to their dedication and the strength of our program.”
Adding to this year’s achievements, King City High School Principal Mike Gray was selected as a state finalist for the prestigious FFA State Star Administrator award. This recognition highlights his unwavering support of agricultural education and FFA, ensuring that students have the resources and opportunities to excel in and beyond the classroom.
“Mr. Gray has been an incredible advocate for our program, always going above and beyond to support our students and ensure they have every opportunity to succeed,” said Jessica Souza, King City FFA advisor. “His leadership and dedication to agricultural education have made a lasting impact on our chapter and community.”
