KING CITY — Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated members gathered on Oct. 4 to collect all the items donated for Operation: Care and Comfort for the troops serving overseas.

They also collected $365 for postage costs.

The community was able to drop off donations at the Rustler/Tribune newspaper office and the King City Library, as well as directly to club members.
