KING CITY — The City of King has announced that the repaving of Division Street is tentatively scheduled to take place Oct. 21 through Nov. 22.

The project will include the entire length of Division Street, from First to Canal streets, with work occurring Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. On-street parking will not be allowed during the hours of 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on posted days.

Vehicle access will be maintained during the construction period. The street will also be open during non-working hours and weekends. Traffic to local residences will be maintained, including the Golf Course and the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds.

“Please allow extra time in your commute as the Division Street Project will impact traffic on neighboring streets,” stated the City.

Contact City Hall at 831-385-3281 with any questions.
