SALINAS VALLEY — Thousands of more ballots have been counted by Monterey County Elections in the Nov. 3 general election, which will determine the outcome in South Monterey County races for school boards and city councils as well as decide the fate of local measures.
As of Monday evening, the county has processed 156,038 ballots, representing a 75.41% voter turnout so far. An estimated 9,800 ballots are left to be counted.
