KING CITY — Community Food Pantry of King City is again partnering with Goodwill Industries for another collection drive later this month.

The Food Pantry is asking local residents to bring new or gently used items — such as clothing, shoes, books, blankets, linens, curtains, dishes, bikes, DVDs and all other general kitchen and household items — to the Goodwill donation trailer at the King City High School Broadway parking lot.

The trailer will be there from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 29 and 30.

For every trailer filled, Goodwill will donate $1,000 to the food pantry, which goes directly to funding its food distribution program. All funds raised stay in King City to assist residents in need.

Note that any furniture, beds, mattresses, exercise equipment, large appliances or baby items, such as strollers or car seats, cannot be accepted.
