KING CITY — Andre Mosqueda, Joel Lozoya and Alex Salazar of the King City Boxing Club competed at Saturday’s Fights at the Brewery in Bakersfield.

Mosqueda, 12, and Lozoya, 14, both won by unanimous decisions over their opponents, while Salazar, 14, took second place after a split decision.

“Overall these boys had good fights and I’m very proud of them,” said head coach Rodolfo Tapia. “Mosqueda fought at 106 pounds, Lozoya fought at 114 pounds and Salazar fought at 116 pounds.”

This Saturday, Mosqueda, Lozoya and Salazar will be joined by San Ardo boxers Bryan Cruz, Miguel Hernandez and Nery Gabriel for a boxing show in Reno, Nev.
