KING CITY — Sol Treasures and Center Stage Theatrical Productions will present the timeless Broadway musical “Anything Goes” this spring, opening April 11 and running for three weekends through April 25 at the Robert Stanton Theater in King City.
This beloved Cole Porter classic will bring laughter, romance and spectacular song-and-dance to the stage as audiences board the S.S. American for one of musical theater’s most joyful adventures.
Featuring a cast of talented performers from across the Monterey Bay region, “Anything Goes” brings together both rising artists and seasoned local stage favorites. Many cast members are traveling from communities throughout the area to participate in the production, making it a vibrant celebration of the region’s thriving performing arts community.
Packed with Porter’s unforgettable music and lyrics, “Anything Goes” is one of Broadway’s most celebrated musicals, featuring such iconic songs as “Anything Goes,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top” and “Blow, Gabriel, Blow.” Since its original debut, the show has received numerous Tony Awards and continues to delight audiences worldwide with its witty humor, dazzling choreography and classic tap-filled spectacle.
The production is directed by Jeff Hinderscheid, founding director of Center Stage Theatrical Productions, with choreography by Parker Lowrie and Beau Rodriguez. Together with an energetic ensemble of local performers, the creative team promises a lively and visually engaging production that honors the timeless charm of this Golden Age musical.
